Arbutus Flyers

The figure in this image is of me doing a swan dive as a teenager in Nova Scotia and the pigeons refer to one that I raised the summer before Grade 5. Both images have to do with flight and the dream that I had as a young boy of being able to fly. The trees provide a reference to the landscape although we do not see the horizon line. The sky provides a colourful background with storm clouds that gradually lighten higher up.
