This ia a larger piece now on stretched canvas that incorporates the clouds, arbutus trees and the flyer figure. This piece provided a strong focal point to the paintings and exploration I did in 2014. The flyer figure came from a photo that my father took of me as a young teenager doing a swan dive into Lake Banook. It reflects flying dreams that I, and I expect all of us, had as children. The goal here was to present an image that poses questions and creates a sense of mystery.
