Arbutus and Erosion

I would go down to the rocky beach to sketch when we stayed at the Hornby Island retreat center and one time I drew the erosion pattern which created a circular design. Later in my studio I combined the erosion formation in the sand stone with an arbutus tree. This required two view points combined into the same image.
